Tell Congress: Climate Can’t Wait
Right now, Congress is negotiating a once-in-a-generation infrastructure and budget reconciliation package that will determine whether our country transitions to a clean energy economy in time to avoid catastrophic climate change.
Currently, about $1 trillion of the $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill addresses climate change. It is imperative that those provisions to advance clean energy, clean transportation, environmental justice, and climate resilience remain strong.
Pick up the phone today and tell your representative it’s time for Congress to #ACTNow on climate and justice investments to create solutions to the #ClimateCrisis while creating millions of jobs. Call your Senators and Reps.
Tell President Biden to Stop Line 3

Urge Your Members of Congress to Support an Infrastructure Plan that Tackles Climate Change!
Rebuilding America will take a transformational investment plan that delivers jobs, justice, and clean energy to communities across the country and curbs the carbon pollution that is driving the climate crisis. Ask your members of Congress to support investments that create new jobs and a just, equitable, and sustainable economy.
Tell our elected leaders that it’s #TimeToAct on climate change!
From the most recent year of devastating hurricanes, wildfires, and record-breaking temperatures, to a mountain of evidence-based science, it’s clear climate change is threatening our livelihoods and the fragile, interconnected web of life. We cannot continue our current course of inaction.
Interfaith Power & Light and thousands of people of faith and conscience around the country urge our elected leaders to consider the moral opportunity that climate change presents to build a more just and equitable world for all, using these FAITH principles:
- FRONTLINE, vulnerable, and BIPOC communities must be supported first
- ACCELERATE the transition to clean energy and commit to net-zero climate pollution in electricity by 2035
- INVEST in climate resiliency and sustainable infrastructure
- TRANSITION our workforce to clean energy jobs with support and job training for workers
- HONOR Creation by following science and commit to net-zero climate pollution by 2050
