“With help from Georgia Interfaith Power and Light, a ecumenical nonprofit which helps houses of worship become more energy efficient, Roth did a sweep of the whole church. The group soon gave the church a report with a variety of suggestions on how to conserve energy, from the free – recycling paper and aluminum products – to the elaborate – such as the need for insulation and new ceilings in many of the older parts of the building.”
